LAURA HYUNJHEE KIM (b. Palo Alto, CA)* works with video, performance, and the Internet as a medium to render familiar physical experiences into digitally fabricated (non)existent spaces that reimagine digital culture and authorship. Thematically, Kim's recent projects examine ubiquitous consumer-grade technology and ‘readymade’ apps/platforms that control online experiences, influence behavior, create new daily rituals and reconfigure everyday life.
Kim lives and works in San Francisco, California and frequents Seoul, South Korea.
